Mandi & Kalan Say I DO!

Wandering Oaks Wedding Venue is one of our all-time favorite venues in the Florida area. Weddings are beautiful events, and they become even more joyous when the couple getting married is fun-loving. This is what I experienced at Mandi and Kalan’s wedding in Wandering Oaks, Myakka city. The two of them not only enjoyed themselves but were also responsible for a laughter riot at the wedding. It was a beautiful day with smiling faces all around, and I loved being Mandi and Kalan’s wedding photographer. My husband Linwood Henry, who helped me shoot, and our videographer Alvaro had a good time too. In the end, we got some amazing images of this memorable day.

It was a pleasant February day when two large families came together to celebrate Mandi and Kalan’s wedding. Mandi wore a gorgeous gown from Something Blue Bridal Boutique and also sported the most amazing cowboy boots with studded crystals. The bridesmaids were pretty in their light blue gowns. Kalan looked dapper in his blue suit, and the groomsmen also put on a similar attire. Although all of the decor was stunning, the florals stole the show. They were custom-made wood flowers by shy_chic_boutique. They were unique and added charm to the wedding images.

I loved Mandi and Kalan’s vows, where they spoke about each other’s wicked sense of humor. Honestly, it was so uniquely them, and their relationship summed up in vows. Kalan promised to tuck Mandi in every night, and Mandi promised to give Kalan foot massages. A cow next door kept mooing during the vows, and the couple kept cracking up. The guests, too, couldn’t keep themselves from laughing out loud. Another highlight of the day was Camron, the couple’s nephew, just walking around, dancing, and laughing all day. At one point, he tripped over the microphone cord, and everyone burst into laughter, but he decided just to lie there and smile.

Everyone was so happy, laughing, and celebrating, allowing me to capture some genuine emotions. The Photo Booth by WildHearts Photo Booth Bus was also a huge hit. Mandi and Kalan partied hard, and their guests danced to their heart’s content. At one point on the dance floor, Mandi threw one of her bridesmaids over her shoulder and started spinning her around, not missing a single beat.

Firstly, Mandi and Kalan, your wedding was a total entertainer. I just loved the way you two spent your special day laughing, enjoying, and keeping your guests cheerful. Secondly, it was absolutely stunning. I love you two! Lastly, thank you for giving me a chance to be your wedding photographer. I wish you both lots of laughter ahead!
