Danielle & Adrian’s Engagement Session

Danielle and Adrian are high school sweethearts and make such a beautiful couple. Adrian organized a surprise proposal while they were on a cruise and Danielle said yes! They soon decided they wanted to document this memorable time together and gave me an opportunity to be their engagement photographer. We did this engagement session in Curtis Hixon Park, Downtown Tampa, and Tampa Riverwalk. I loved the venue and enjoyed my time with Danielle and Adrian.

Some love stories are so cute that you want to hear them again and again. Danielle and Adrian’s story is one of them. They first met at Adrian’s Aunt’s wedding and had a brief conversation. Little did they know that they would run into each other again almost a year later on the first day of their High School. They became friends that day and fell in love thereafter.

For their engagement session in Curtis Hixon Park, Danielle and Adrian color-coordinated their casuals in blue and white. Danielle completed her look with a pretty and delicate neckpiece. For their photoshoot at Tampa Riverwalk, they wore magenta and gray formals. Adrian looked handsome in his suit while Danielle was gorgeous in her high-slit gown. They held hands, embraced each other, and shared genuine smiles. I totally loved photographing Danielle and Adrian.

My favorite part of engagement sessions is when couples relax and get all comfortable with being photographed. For me, this is when the magic happens. When I am shooting I coach my couples through their movements. I ask them thoughtful questions so that they start to focus on each other and their love story begins to shine through. They start to enjoy and the smiles and laughter, I photograph, are real.
