Set up stations that feature your favorite eats, like a raw bar with a waiter live shucking oysters or wine and cheese pairing with an on site sommelier. If you are not quite ready to ditch the seated meal host a cool cocktail hour incorporating one of these trends.

Food trends are yummy and fun. Menus are being carefully curated with favorite eats and local specialities favorites of the bride and groom. Think deep -dish pizza for a Chicago after-party or Seafood platters for a Florida beach wedding. The presentation is almost upstaging the food with elaborate displays that are sure to be the talk of any reception. Self serving bars, hanging acrylic shelves piled high with cheese and charcuteries, are instant hits. Set up a donut wall with gourmet selections or treat your guest to a full service sundae bar. These interactive stations will give your family and friends a great treat and twist on the traditional.
Translucent Cakes

Imagine a cake not quite frosted, not quite bare either, the almost – naked cake is a perfect blend of two styles, and ideal for a less formal celebration. These confections are usually lightly iced in buttercream and topped with fresh flowers or in season fruit that hint at the floor of the cakes filling.
